Daily Pink Link: Madden 09 for Deanna Favre Hope Foundation

I guess it's becoming a habit for me to pick football related products every Sunday. The NFL is also supporting breast cancer awareness month pretty heavily this year - all of the officials are wearing pink ribbon pins and most are also wearing pink rubber wristbands and awareness bracelets. After all, pink looks great with their zebra uniforms.

Today's product won't come as a shock to those who have already read about our love of Brett Favre in this household, and our meeting his wife, Deanna Favre, a breast cancer survivor. But once I saw this product come up, I had to feature it. Of course, we already have the regular edition in our house for Playstation3 (and unfortunately, Target.com does not show it available for this game console).

If you have Wii or Xbox360, or know someone who does, you can buy this year's edition of the ever popular EA Sports Madden NFL football video game, which features legendary quarterback Brett Favre on the cover. Proceeds of the sale of this edition go to support the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation, an organization she started after her own diagnosis of breast cancer.
